What's a Fanlisting?

A fanlisting is something that brings together fans of a certain person / subject / object / activity / game / what-have-you through the use of an online list of their names and the countries they're from.

What's with the title?

The Dalmascan kingdom was founded by B'nargin, the second son of the King Raithwall, who was also known as the Dynast-King. Ashe and her family are descendants of the Dynast-King, and Ashe is a princess...you get the picture. :p

About Ashe

An Introduction

Her full name is Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca; the only daughter of the late King Raminas Dalmasca and wife of the late Lord Rasler Heios Nabradia. The people saw the union of Lord Rasler and Princess Ashe as a "marriage of convenience", such that it would bring together the kingdoms of Dalmasca and Nabradia in order to fight against the invading empire of Archadia. When Archadia invaded Nabradia, Dalmasca was forced to join in defending Nabradia. The war ended with Lord Rasler's death and Nabradia's defeat. Ashe's eight brothers were also killed during this war, and before the signing of a peace treaty between Dalmasca and Archadia, King Raminas was also slain. Marquis Halim Ondore, Ashe's uncle, publicly announced Ashe's suicide following the King's death.

Biding Time

Although believed to be dead for two years, Princess Ashe did not actually commit suicide, but went into hiding and joined the Liberation Army, which aimed to free Dalmasca from the rule of Archadia, and restore Ashe to her rightful position as Queen. Ashe runs into several complications throughout her quest, and her adventures lead her to join forces with Vaan, Balthier, and the rest of FFXII's main cast.
