The Dark Elves, who refer to themselves as "Dunmer", have dark skin and red eyes, and reside in Morrowind. Dark Elves are characterized by their disdain for those races and fellow Dunmer who are not natives of Morrowind, and for being aloof and reserved. They are highly intellectual and are strong and agile, thus making them effective warriors and wizards.
